DayTymers Social Club at Heritage Commons is an adult day program offering lots of fun, friendship and activity for Middletown-area residents! DayTymers provides healthy and enjoyable mental and physical activities and friendship for seniors who need more socialization or who have early memory loss. The program operates from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Very Good for Your Loved One — Very Good for You! DayTymers restores balance to your life and gives you more personal, social, and work time. You’ll also enjoy peace of mind knowing your loved one is enjoying him or herself in a safe, secure, caring environment. Healthy, Delicious Lunches and Snacks Our program includes lunches and snacks prepared fresh daily and served in our gracious dining room. DayTymers members enjoy a choice of two lunch entreés, homemade soup every day, and a wide variety of low sugar and regular beverages and desserts. Small Group Size DayTymers is limited to just 16 participants per day. Your loved one is assured lots of social and activity time with friends and lots of individual staff attention.   Expert Staff DayTymers staff members have at least 10 years of senior care experience. Program Director, Carmela Gagnon, holds a degree in Health Management and is a is a Licensed Long-Term Care Administrator.    Safe and Secure DayTymers are always accompanied by one or more staff members. Heritage Commons’ building and grounds are protected by a 23-camera, monitored video security system and all visitors are required to sign in and out.   Flexible Schedule to Meet your Needs DayTymers members may attend when they and their families wish – from half a day per week to five full days weekly.    State Approved DayTymers Social Club is certified by the Connecticut Association of Adult Day Care Centers and works with the Connecticut Agency on Aging. Free Trial Days Available Prospective members are always welcome to try DayTymers for one or more trial days at no charge.  Please call us to arrange your free visit. Need a Ride? We'll Provide One... We offer transportation via our 12-passenger, handicapped-accessible van from Middletown, Cromwell, Portland, Middlefield, Meriden, and Durham.
