The Heritage Commons kitchen employs three highly experienced chefs turning out a variety of tempting meals, from delectable continental dishes to hearty New England fare.
We purchase the finest quality foods, with fresh deliveries arriving several times weekly, and all meals are prepared so as to offer our residents the good food, proper nutrition, and balanced diet so important to senior health. Our kitchen uses very little salt in cooking, relying on stocks and spices for seasoning, and we use zero-cholesterol cooking oils exclusively.
Heritage Commons presents two featured dinner entrees each evening, and several alternate choices, including fish, chicken, Salisbury steak, omelettes, and New York strip steaks, are always available. All dinners include soup made fresh daily, fresh salads and vegetables, a choice of several hot and cold beverages, and a large selection of regular and reduced-sugar desserts in addition to the featured dessert.
