Does Heritage Commons provide health care?
Heritage Commons is an independent living community and may not employ health care personnel directly. However, our Executive Director, a highly experienced geriatric care management professional, works closely with residents and their families to arrange for aide or other care services through outside agencies, as required. You pay only for the assistance you need when you need it.

     What about building security?
Heritage Commons is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Residential hallways, service areas, and our parking lot and grounds are covered by a 20-camera video system linked to a central monitoring station. All visitors must sign in and out. Exterior doors are locked at dusk and may be opened only by the Front Desk attendant. Apartments are protected by smoke detectors, sprinklers, and include an emergency call system. All hallways and common areas are equipped with smoke detectors, sprinklers, and automatic fire doors.
