Heritage Commons' spacious, big-screen TV lounge includes a new, 52-inch, high-definition television, VHS and DVD player and lots of comfortable seating. Movies, with selections ranging from the latest releases to classic films, are shown several times a week. There’s also a theater organ for residents to play and all are welcome regardless of musical ability.

Heritage Commons has also recently added a Nintendo Wii interactive gaming system to our television lounge. The Wii includes tennis, golf, bowling, boxing, and baseball, and is rapidly becoming popular at senior residences and physical therapy facilities because the games provide exercise and improve balance and coordination as players use their body and arm motions to control the movements of sports figures on the television screen. And, Wii is lots of fun!
